|Jane Broadhead, Chief Executive OfficerAs Chief Executive Officer I have overall responsibility for Camcare as an organisation, providing leadership and management, ensuring the organisation meets the strategic directions established by the Board of Governance, building Camcare’s profile in the community, establishing networks, managing key stakeholder relationships and obtaining resources which enable Camcare to provide flexible and responsive services to the local community.|
|Pari Sanyü – Manager Community Support ServicesI manage the delivery of our Emergency Relief, Information and Referral and Community Support Services – working with agencies, community groups and our service users to respond to emerging needs. My role at Camcare involves the recruitment, training and coordination of volunteers who assist Camcare in a range of roles from direct client work to community BBQs and fundraising projects. I am excited by the interest shown by young people and schools who seek to engage in a meaningful way with needs in the community.|
|Jennifer Jones – ER CaseworkerI provide casework intervention to address identified support needs of vulnerable Emergency Relief clients who walk into Camcare with a range of complex issues, often in distress. I receive referrals from and work closely with trained volunteer Community Support Workers and with Camcare’s Financial Counsellors. Part of my job is maintaining effective networks and linkages with relevant services.|
|David Cooke – Service Development Manager
My role at Camcare is to provide leadership to the counselling, psychology and family services programs, working with team leaders and practitioners to ensure a high quality, responsive service is provided to all clients.
An important part of my role, which I really enjoy, is to work with community partners to identify emerging needs and develop new and innovative programs that meets the needs of those living in Boroondara and neighbouring areas who are experiencing hardship or difficult life circumstances.
